Blossoms To Leaders Afterschool Program
BLOSSOMS TO LEADERS -Afterschool Program
Blossoms to Leaders is designed to address the whole child by combining academic enrichment, etiquette and social skills, character education, leadership development, financial literacy, career and college readiness, creative enrichment, mentorship, health and wellness education, community service, and family engagement within a safe and structured afterschool environment.
Participants are divided into three developmentally appropriate groups:
Cherry Blossoms – Ages 5–9
Building foundational academic, behavioral, communication, confidence, and social skills. Honey Bees – Ages 10–13
Developing identity, leadership, responsibility, emotional intelligence, communication, financial awareness, and positive decision-making.
Sweet Melons – Ages 14–18
Preparing young people for adulthood through leadership, career exploration, workforce development, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, college preparation, professional etiquette, and independent-living skills.
The program responds to a critical reality: young people need more than a safe place to spend the hours after school. They need meaningful opportunities to learn, belong, develop confidence, build healthy relationships, discover talents, receive mentorship, and prepare for their futures.
Our ultimate goal is to help develop a generation of young people who are academically engaged, socially confident, emotionally aware, financially informed, professionally prepared, community-minded, and equipped to become leaders.
